Theories about UFOs are compiled from stories about alien contact, sightings, and the video or photographs that capture them. Most theories about UFOs stem from unexplained luminous phenomena that usually occur at night. This is a constant element when it comes to UFOs and paranormal sightings. This makes it hard for scientists to come up with cohesive theories about UFO's that won't sound like they were stories written by a producer from the X-files. The only aspect of theories about UFO's that anyone in the science community can agree on is that patches of unexplainable light can be seen repeatedly in specific locations around the world and that do actually defy natural explanations.

These patches of light vary in color, but don't seem to stray from yellow, white, red, orange, or blue. They are reported to change and randomly reorganize, but always make a single impact on the person who witnesses their activity. They particularly seem to show up in Southern Texas, California, and Mexico and leave a lasting impression on anyone who sees them. When describing alien contact, no one ever feels threatened. They simply talk about an experience where they felt like they were being watched or followed. When camping out west, the description of aliens will include two overly-large and slanted black eyes staring at the camper. In the suburbs, there will be a series of lights that hover noiselessly over a home for a few moments and then disappear without a sound.

Every person who has an alien encounter describes a non-threatening presence, so theses stories differ from ghost encounters where someone may feel like they are being watched by an unwelcome guest. This prompts scientists and people who feel like they have had an alien contact to share information about sightings and theories about UFOs in person and on the internet.

Video and photography that capture sightings is the main proof that someone who feels like they had alien contact can show to authorities, but scientists tend to become dismissive of this kind of evidence. So, the search for life on other planets in the science community is limited to finding life forms from telescopes and other types of electronic equipment. Advocates that believe in beings from other galaxies and insist that there is life on other planets speculate that an alien autopsy was once performed at Area 51 near Roswell, but that kind of information is yet to be released to the general public. For now, watching the X-files may be the closest that anyone will come to real alien contact and solidify theories about UFOs.

What do you think - are UFO's truly an extraterrestrial presence, or are all these eyewitness reports just people simply mistaken?
